Following our blog post “Does Social Media Marketing affect SEO (Poll)?” appeared on 13th May 2020, we had such a positive response from our readers and lots of them were keen on taking part in the poll. Apparently most of the survey respondents agree that the social media has a strong impact on search engine optimization.
So far there are 207 votes submitted for the poll and here is what we found.

Sometimes – 9% (19)
In fact this is no-brainer since most of the internet users spend their time interacting on social media. The type of social media circles they join and their interaction with the peer members have proven to be having a direct impact on their engagement with the web. Social networks have proven to be imposing a powerful effect on the customer decision-making as well.
The search analysis expert Search Metrics also appears to be re-assuring the ideas of our readers. According to their ranking factors, in addition to back links, Google+ and Facebook are the important factors for higher search engine ranking.
